The Red Dot

I am absolutely smitten by this stunning gadget with a red dot

Leica X1

It's going to be out in December 2009 and retailing at $2000, USD.

I need to start saving money!!!

Or maybe I should go for D-Lux 4

D-Lux 4 is limited worldwide but it costs so much lesser than x1. Not to mention that lovely brown leather case!

Price at $700, i believe.

Ok time to go Pavilion or KLCC to do some price check soon!!

The Question and The Fact

It's 8th of September... with less than an hour to 090909.

Half the world are probably getting hitched, engaged or doing something remarkable on a remarkable date tomorrow. I didn't realize it was 9th September 09 until Dennis told me this afternoon.

Today is going to be a special day.

Why? How special?

Well, you'll know...

Ehh don't tell a bit and keep a bit can or not...

Mmm it's 090909 tomorrow.

So?

Well, I think we should do something about it.

Like what?

TP asked me what am I going to do

What did you say?

Well, she proposed that I should propose.

I was stunned. Face turned red. And I fumbled with my words.

WHAT?!

Yes, and all I could say was What.

No, he's not going to propose to me tomorrow. If he is, then I sure am going to be damn surprised.

Well, truth is, I don't see the possibility of him asking my hand for marriage any time too soon although we have talked and shared on this topic.

Maybe not this year or 2010.

I am able to see myself getting hitched (YES I KNOW! Such a big word kan?) with him. Life with him has made me realize that polar opposites can live and grow together, bond closer and do a lot more things because of our differences in preference. In all differences, in all diverse ways, it's amazing that we share a same belief and understanding. But most importantly, it made me realize one fact.

We compliment each other.

When i was young

Turning 26 in a matter of 24 hours.

OMG. 25 years just went past like that.

When I was five years old, I held hands with my childhood boyfriend in kindergarten and thought I was going to marry him.

When I was 10 years old, I shared my dreams with my best friends that I want I get married at 25, just like any other 10 year-old.

When I was 15 years old, I was studying so hard for my academics and barely recovered from my break-up with my boyfriend a year ago that I did not want to think about boys at all.

When I was 20 years old, I thought I'd never find anyone because there was hardly a guy who wanted to date a strong-character person who also has a face of the Course Rep in college.

When I was 25 years old, I had broken up a serious relationship that affected my confidence and security in a bad shape, picked up myself, gone out with several men and got tangled in a love triangle.

At 25, I travelled the furthest and longest time away from home in my life, worked my arse off and partied so hard in Las Vegas. I continued the working & partying all the way from US to Perth and to Brisbane. And in Brisbane, I found my love. Well actually, Dennis flew all the way from KL to Brisbane on a fine November morning just for me. If anyone were to ask me what is my perfect morning, it would be November 27th because I met my 100% perfect man.

So.

What's next?

:)

Magic

You're the first person I want to speak to in the morning and last before bed
I think of you every day, almost every moment
You make me laugh, almost daily
I am most impressed when you take the lead
You are sexiest when you're busy fixing things
I love your smell even when you're all sweaty
You have an awesome back view and I love it

I can't believe that it's almost 9 months already
You are my Magic

I love you

Kinnaree Thai Restaurant, Jaya One

A few nights ago, we came here for a quiet dinner because one it was nearby to office since Dennis had to attend a conference call at 9. and two, i had cravings for thai food.

Kinnaree is a fine dining thai cuisine restaurant in Jaya One, Section 13 Petaling Jaya. The entrance is located on G floor but the dining place is in fact on the upper level. Very nice ambience and pretty good selection of thai dishes.

Tom Yam soup with Fried Fish cutlets

Crying Tiger - dennis had to order this dish because of the name... this is grilled beef, and it's so damn good!

Stir fry Chicken with basil and chillies - a little too salty to my liking

Thai Fish Cakes - yums!

A very happy and satisfied me after a huge pang of thai craving

But this isn't a very happy boyfriend... because the dishes were too spicy for him! Hahahaaa

Day trip to Bentong for Durians and Waterfall

Last weekend, I took Mum, Dennis & Shelly to visit my uncle in Bentong for durians.

We had a feast of the best variants!!!

D24, D88, Red Prawn, Musang King... you name it! But unfortunately I did not manage to take any pictures of those yummy durians because we were too busy stomaching it. I think the group of us had 10+ durians, gave out 20+ to my uncle's friends and we still had a balance of half a dozen which i gladly brought it back to KL. My car still smell of durianssssssss after 4 days! LOL!
Due to our love for food, and to accomodate first timers to Bentong like Shelly, I took the opportunity to bring them to Kow Po cafe for Ice-Kacang/ABC. BEST in town!

Can you see how gluttons we are? After pigging out on durians, we had ABC, nasi lemak and rojak!!
After overdosing on durians, ABCs, nasi lemak and rojak, we had to do something about our huge stomachs. So we drove to the nearby Chamang Waterfalls.
